No reviews yet.
We won't invent any.

NibbleCheck hasn't launched. Nobody has used it in a real supermarket except us, so there is nothing honest to put on this page — and a page of made-up praise is the last thing you should accept from an app about your child's allergies.

Why this page exists anyway

Almost every app you look at has testimonials from day one. Some are real. Plenty are written by the people who built the thing, or bought in a bundle of fifty for the price of a takeaway. You have no way of telling which from the outside, which is exactly why they are worth so little.

So this page is here early, empty and saying so, as a marker for the thing we intend to do properly. If we would fake this, you should not trust anything else we tell you about what is in a jar.

What we'll do when reviews arrive

Written down now, while it costs us nothing to promise, so you can hold us to it later.

Real people only

Every review will come from someone who has actually used NibbleCheck to check food for a child. No incentives, no free subscriptions in exchange, nothing bought.

Including the bad ones

We publish criticism alongside praise. A page where everyone is delighted is a page that has been edited, and you can tell.

Their words, not ours

Quoted as written, trimmed only for length and never for meaning, with first name and rough location. We'll say when a review was left, so you can see if it's stale.

Early access

Be one of the first to have an opinion

Before NibbleCheck goes on the App Store it is going out to a small number of families who live this every day — the people best placed to find what is wrong with it.

If that is you, join the waitlist and say so. You'll get it early, and what you tell us will change the app before anyone else sees it. Some of you will end up on this page, in your own words, if you want to be.

Being a tester is not a review, and we won't treat it as one. We'll ask separately, afterwards, once you've had it long enough to have a real view.

Nothing here yet

This space is waiting for the first family who has used NibbleCheck for a real weekly shop.

What you can judge us on today

No reviews does not mean no evidence. While you wait for other parents' opinions, here is what is already checkable:

  • What we refuse to say. NibbleCheck will not call a food safe, or allergy-free, or approved — not in the app and not in this sentence. The rule is enforced by an automated test that reads our own screens and this website and fails the build if any of it slips through.
  • How the verdict is reached. Deterministic matching, no language model in the decision, and every verdict shows the words that caused it and how confident we are in them.
  • What we never charge for. A child's allergy result, manual ingredient entry and food-recall alerts are free, permanently. Whatever we charge for one day, it will not be the answer to “can she eat this?”
  • Where your data goes. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party data sharing. Read the privacy policy — it is specific, and it lists how long we keep each thing.
